Specially designed safety glasses to protect against infrared light and debris. Infrared and UV rays are produced during the welding process, which can burn the retinal tissues within the eye with repeated exposure.
The microscope lens eyelets protect against infrared and UV light, so glasses only need to be used when welding without a microscope. Additionally, safety glasses protect against debris that may be created during welding.
After sizing a customer's necklace or anklet and checking for correct fit, don welding glasses prior to welding. Welding glasses can be fit underneath magnifying glasses to observe weld.
