Cut with a laser, the jaws on these needle chain-nose pliers feature precision edges and contours that deliver smooth, repeatable bends and curves in metal and wire, and fine tips that are ideal for reaching into small, detailed areas. On chain-nose pliers, both jaws are semi-round with flat interior surfaces, tapering to a point from the pivot to the tip; they are ideal for opening and closing jump rings, flat crimping and making angled bends.
• The smooth finish helps reduce the risk of marring delicate pieces. The jaws are made of C70 steel that is hardened to 62 HRC.
• These pliers have a lap joint, in which one half of the joint overlaps the other, and a screw is set through both halves. The screw allows the joint to be adjusted as needed.
• The double-leaf spring consists of flat, tempered metal tabs attached to the inside of each of the tool handles, positioned to meet and hold the handles apart (and the jaws open) until they are squeezed closed, delivering a fast, strong rebound for improved productivity.
• Ergonomic handles provide a comfortable grip while reducing hand fatigue and allowing you to work longer.
